ABOUT

Veronica Vaughn is a blend of alt-rock, blues rock, western punk, and grunge hailing from Asbury Park, New Jersey. The band takes its influences from the various backgrounds of each member, from the classic rock of the 70s, pop of the 80s, grunge and punk of the 90s, and from various other hard to place artists.

The band started in August of 2019 when Charlie Buccola (Lead Vocals/Guitar) and Rob Molinari (Bass/Vocals) parted ways from their old band Funeral Students. Rob was linked up with Steve Gallo (Drums/Vocals) through a mutual friend. After a stop/start 2020 and a few lead guitarists, the band linked up with a childhood friend of Charlie’s, Pat Burns (Lead Guitar/Vocals). Suddenly they were firing on all cylinders and a new sound began to evolve from the melting pot.

Currently, Veronica Vaughn is writing a debut EP, playing shows again, and rebuilding after the lockdown and member changes. They are working now with Leesta Vall Sound Recordings in Brooklyn, NY to create a limited run of one of a kind vinyl presses as part of  their Direct-to-Vinyl Live Sessions.
